The Joint Service Achievement ( JSM ) is awarded to those few special individuals who have participated in the Rumble clan from its humble beginnings in Tribes 2 and remained faithfully into the present as a member of Rumble in Unreal Tournament 2004. This award has caused much controversy because those who earned it believe that it should rank much higher in the order of awards than dead last. Even though it has been placed at the bottom of the list, those few who have earned it have stated that it is by far the dearest and most meaningful medal amongst the list. For many new members, this award is all but unobtainable, lest the clan should move on to some other gaming endeavor. |
| The Membership Medal is the first award presented to new members of the Rumble clan. It is a prerequisite for wearing of the official clan tag }R{. New members must earn this distinction through a rigorous and time consuming recruitment period during which their skills are honed and tested. Although it is also rather low on the list, the Membership Medal has earned itself a place of honor and is prized as one of the greatest achievements by most members of the Rumble clan. Once earned, a player becomes a fully vetted member of the combat elite, and is eligible for any of the awards listed below. It is considered to be a rite of passage among Rumble Warriors, and they wear this medal with pride and honor. |
| The Defense Buster Medal is awarded to those brave warriors who have committed themselves, at great personal risk, to the destruction of enemy defenses without thought of glory or gain. These unique individuals will dive head on into mayhem, over and over, to eliminate the enemy's defensive perimeter. They risk life and limb on countless occasions, to ensure that the enemy's ability to hold their flag is subdued and subjugated. This often thankless task is a Key element in the overall strategem of High Command and is therefore afforded this Award for Excellance. Even though it ranks rather low on the totem pole of awards, those who have earned it are said to treasure the tattered ribbon. |
| The Defender Medal may be awarded to any Rumble Clan member who repeatedly defended for flag or its perimeter during agressive assault by an opposing clan while in a certified scrimage or match game. Under certain cercumstances, the Defender Medal may be awarded to a member who personally saves the ass of any High Command Officer who may have inadvertantly wondered into danger through their own ignorance, provided the recipient managed to preserve both the honor and dignity of the High Command Officer while escorting him or her back to the relative safety of the rear eschalon. |

A clan member can earn this award by demonstrating his/her proficiency through a series of tests and/or by completing a designated course of instruction administered by a qualified Trainer. The course of study must be in line with the members job description as outlined by the policies of the High Command. After passing all needed prerequisites, the member must be recommended by his/her trainer for the award. Soldier's Proficiency Awards must be approved by High Command, they cannot be handed out by trainers. |
| The Trainer's Medal can only be awarded to those individuals who have proven that they have the patience, knowledge, and discipline required to impart the needed skills to another member of the clan. Only High Command can make the determination that a member be awarded the Trainer's Medal. Few individuals have ever met the high standards needed to become a master trainer. It takes a special kind of warrior to spend their time training others, a warrior willing to give of themselves so that the clan will benefit. For this, the Trainer's Medal is given unto them. |
