Doctor Who reigns as the longest-running science fiction television series of all time. From 1963 through 1989, and a brief resurgence in television movie form in 1996, it survived twenty-six seasons, seven changes of the lead actors, over 40 arrivals and departures of supporting cast and countless changes to its production team. Yet there were always two things that remained constant: the Doctor's ship, the TARDIS, in the guise of a 20th Century English police box; and the Doctor himself, always a champion of good against the forces of evil.
And then there was Tom. Tom Baker, recognized across the world as the quintessential Doctor Who; a mainstay of British television for seven years, the Doctor as far as most Americans are concerned, and with his multicolored scarf and faithful robot dog K-9, inarguably the one icon other than the trusty TARDIS that has transcended the show and become part of the mainstream. For although there have been eight actors in the role, nobody is more inexorably linked the show than the reclusive Baker, and the one who more than any other has kept the air of mystique since he left the show decades ago.
Without a doubt, THE BEST Doctor Who EVER!

GhostHunters T.A.P.S.
Plumbers by day — ghost hunters by night. This one-hour weekly docu-soap follows a group of real-life paranormal researchers as they investigate haunted houses throughout the country, encountering every type of imaginable haunting. Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, plumbers by trade, head up TAPS — The Atlantic Paranormal Society — a group of intrepid souls who are far from the usual collection of bespectacled Ph.D.s. They're ordinary, everyday people — office managers, factory workers, teachers and even psychic-hotline gurus — with an interest in getting to the bottom of your otherworldly disturbances. I dont know why, but I really enjoy this show! I have always been interested in the paranormal, and I like the attitude these guys have. Unlike other paranormal investigators, the TAPS investigators will not call a place haunted unless they have defendable evidence to prove their claims.
Star Trek, original series
Capt. Kirk and the crew of the Starship Enterprise explore space and defend the United Federation of Planets, enough said. This show was a TV masterpiece. I still watch it whenever it comes on the tube. I've seen every episode and own most of them.
Star Trek, the Next Generation
This is a part of the Star Trek universe created by Gene Roddenberry . Set in the 24th century, about 80 years after the original Star Trek series, Star Trek: The Next Generation features a new crew and a new Starship Enterprise. I have seen every episode and own many of them.
Star Trek Voyager
Pulled to the far side of the Galaxy, where the Federation is 75 years away at maximum warp speed, a Starfleet ship must cooperate with Maquis rebels to find a way home. I watch this show ONLY if I am very bored and there is little else on, usually late night.
Then there was that OTHER one.....Enterprise, which I don't care for in the least. I just can't get past Scott Bakula as the Capt of anything, let alone a Starship!!
